A 200 level female student of the University of Maiduguri, Miss Mercy Ibrahim Balami, suffering from rectum problem, has solicited the assistance of the general public to gather the sum of N2 million to finance her treatment at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, (ABUTH) Zaria .
Kanem Trust gathered that Miss Balami has been she passing excretion through abdomen and was earlier admitted at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.
A medical report detailing the health of the student, signed by a Consultant Surgeon at UMTH, Dr E. U. Emi indicated that the patient has to be referred to ABUTH for evaluation, surgery and expert management.
Miss Balami has appealed to spirited members of the public and government to assist her raise the money so she can survive.
