Prof. Maimako was also moved by the report of how the vehicle of one of the university lecturers, Prof. Augustine-Ufua Enahoro, also of the Department of Mass Communication, was stolen.
He disclosed this when the leadership of the Mass Communication Department paid him a courtesy visit in his office after a successful tenure as the Vice-Chancellor of the university.
Earlier, the Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr Geoffrey Danaan, explained that the leadership of the department was in his office to appreciate him for his numerous achievements, particularly the listening ear he accorded the department while in office.
