Unemployment: Group calls for more skills centres

A youth advocacy group, FCDA Youth Boot Camp, has called for the establishment of more skills acquisition centres in the country in order to empower the youths.

The convener of the group, Lady Junila Takon, made the call at a sensitisation forum organised for youths in Kubwa, Abuja.

She said it was expedient to reduce the rate of unemployment in the country through youths’ engagement.

She said the forum was organised to educate the youths on productive ventures to enable them to contribute their quota to the national economic development of the country.
