Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Rev. Yakubu Pam, yesterday said those looting COVID-19 palliatives should understand the power of storage for future usage.
Pam, at a press conference in Abuja, also asked President Muhammadu Buhari to summon the state governors affected on why those palliatives were hoarded.
He called on the youth championing the #EndSARS protests to cease fire and embrace peace, saying violence should not be used as a way of settling scores.
He said: “We are not against lawful protest which is allowed in any modern democratic setting such as ours.
“But we’re worried that such peaceful and organised protest may be hijacked by those who do not mean well for this nation and this was exactly what transpired when the hitherto peaceful protest was overrun by hoodlums and hooligans who went berserk to loot and destroy properties of our common wealth and that of individuals to paint a bad picture of the organised Nigerian youth.”
