The management of the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, has said that the hospital is having not less than 10 unclaimed/ unidentified corpses brought in by the police and men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The Centre said the corpses were brought in between 2018 and 2020 and were still lying at the Centre’s mortuary.

The Public Relations Officer of the Centre Muhammed Adamu, said the corpses had exceeded the time limit of six months as permitted by law and as such the Centre is calling on members of the public, whose their loved ones were missing within the period to visit the hospital for possible identification.
He said the hospital would be left with no option than mass burial if the corpses were not claimed within the next two weeks.
