Uncertainty, confusion over conduct of APC senatorial primaries in Katsina

Uncertainty have continued to trail the conduct of Tuesday’s senatorial primaries in Katsina as till now there is no official communication on whether it will take place or otherwise.

Also, a recently released list of aspirants by the National Working Committee of the party on cleared aspirants has further made the situation tensed with many missing names.

Some of the aspirants spoken to said they are yet to be communicated on the development but are keenly watching the unfolding events.

Also, an unconfirmed report has it that the exercise has been shifted by a day to tomorrow (October 3) due “logistics problems.”

Efforts to get comments from the state chapter of the party proved abortive.

Meanwhile, delegates for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries have started arriving their respective centres for screening and eventual commencement of the exercise. ‎
