A jeep flew into the side of a Milwaukee, Wisconsin, duplex Thursday morning, to the disbelief of a tenant who was sleeping inside and a woman crawling out the driver’s side door. According to Milwaukee Police, the bizarre incident happened just before 5 a.m. as the homeowner, identified as Theo, was asleep in bed. “I was dead asleep,” Theo told TMJ4. “My first reaction was, ‘what is going on? Is it an explosion? A fire?’ I couldn’t see anything because there was so much smoke, and drywall, and whatever.” Then I saw a lady trying to creep out of the car,” he continued. “I called 911. I’m just confused and mentally shaken up right now.” A tow truck was able to remove the SUV, which still worked. Surprisingly, police said the driver was not impaired and she’s cooperating with authorities. So far, the incident is being investigated as a routine crash.
