A group known as Concerned North APC Forum has refuted the claimed that the minister of works is marginalizing the region.
Addressing a press conference in Kano, on Saturday, the forum said that the administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu is poised to deliver the dividends of democracy to all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or region.
The forum passed a vote of confidence on David Umahi, saying that it is confident that the hope of Nigerians would not be dashed.
Addressing journalists, the secretary of the forum, Comrade Mustapha Alfa, said, “This is the reason the president appointed credible individuals who are know are well experienced.

“As soon as the Hon Engr Dave Umahi was appointed as the Minister of Works, he hit the ground running.
“Kogi, Kaduna, Kebbi. Sokoto and Zamfara and the rest of the north west states were the first states the Minister visited on his working visit in order to ascertain the level of dilapidated roads and other infrastructure within the North.
“Recently the Minister was also in Benue State and we can attest to the high level of quality projects going on there and some other states of the Federation, even as appropriate plans are on ground to make sure every region of the country gets some of these massive Infrastructure developments.
“The minister will soon pay a visit to the North-Eastern part of the country, which also fixture prominently in the Minister plans.
“The minister has shown his unwavering commitment to the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano-Katsina road project which is ongoing and on course to be delivered by 2025.
“As we speak, the design of a 1000km Badagari Sokoto road is ongoing as a part of government’s national networking and the construction work will commence soon.
“Engr. David Nweze Umahi is an on-field person who doesn’t just sits in the office and waits for whatever comes. He is a Civil Engr of repute who is very experience and is out there to ensure that quality and safety is guaranteed.
The forum urged Northerns to desist from peddling wrong informations on the person of the Minister.
It also called on Umahi to not be distracted and to remain focused on the huge assignments before him.
