Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian President, has been involved in a road accident.
Zelensky’s spokesman, Sergiy Nikiforov, revealed this in a statement posted on Facebook Thursday morning.

According to him, the president was not seriously injured in the accident.
He said, “In Kyiv, a passenger car collided with the car of the President of Ukraine and escort vehicles.
“Medics accompanying the President provided the driver of the passenger car with emergency aid and transferred him to an ambulance,” he continued.
“The president was examined by a doctor, no serious injuries were detected. The law enforcement officers will investigate all the circumstances of the accident.”
Zelensky, in a video posted shortly after the accident, said he had just returned from the area around Kharkiv.
The accident comes after the President visited the recaptured city of Izyum, a key logistics hub in north-eastern Ukraine, on Wednesday.
