“The tracking of one of the phones led to the arrest of the suspects. The mother of the second suspect testified that her son (Akintunde) was a thief who specialised in house burglary while Segun is at large. They are the criminals terrorising the people of Aiyetoro, Asa-Dam, Aiyetoro and its environs”, the charge sheet added.

Prosecutor, Ayeni Gbenga, urged the court to remand the suspects.

In her ruling, Magistrate Gbadeyan Kamson heeded the plea of the prosecutor and ordered their remand at the correctional centre, Ilorin, and adjourned until January 23, 2023.
