Two Pastors died of COVID-19 in Delta – CAN

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Delta State said the body has lost two pastors in its fold to coronavirus.

In a statement weekend to its corporate members (head of Blocs, Local Government CAN Coordinators, pastors and churches), Chairman of CAN, Delta State, Apostle Sylvanus Okorote said some pastors no longer take COVID-19 guidelines and protocols seriously.

The Delta CAN Chairman, who doubles as Special Adviser on Religious Matters to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, said the Church should not pretend that COVID-19 is fake or that it is over.
