Two persons lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a road crash at Kilometer 8, Akinlalu, Osun State Tuesday morning.
The accident involved a white Toyota Haice bus with registration number FKJ746DU and a white and blue bus with registration number FKJ634XW.
Out of the 23 persons in the vehicles, two males died on the spot while another two males sustained injury.
The personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) arrived at the scene of the accident on time for rescue operations.
Those injured were taken to Obafemi Awolowo University Traci Hospital, Ile-Ife for treatment and the corpses of those who died were deposited at the morgue of OAUTH.
The Public Relations Officer of FRSC in the state, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, speaking on behalf of the Sector Commander, Mrs Kudirat Ibrahim, confirmed the incident.
