Two persons have lost their lives in a fatal road accident near the Iwaraja junction, Erinmo junction along Ilesa-Akure expressway in Osun State.
The accident involved a hash colour Toyota Hiace Bus with registration number DKA 597 BQ and a DAF Truck with registration number XP 817 EPE.

The personnel of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) rescued those injured in the accident and evacuated the remains of the the dead from the road.
The Sector Commander, Mrs Kudirat Ibrahim, who spoke through the Public Relations Officer of FRSC in the state, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi, confirmed the incident.
Ibrahim told Daily Trust that apart from the two persons that died in the accident, three others sustained injury, adding that they were all males.
The FRSC boss identified loss of control, speed violation and dangerous driving as probable causes of the accident.
“The injured victims were taken to Wesley Hospital, Ilesa, and (01) corpse taken to their mortuary. The other dead victim is still trapped in the vehicle”, she said.
