Two Crescent varsity graduates bag first-class at Law School

Two Crescent University graduates, Qudus Akintola and Zainab Akinde, bagged first-class at the Nigerian Law School.

According to a statement from the varsity, Qudus Akintola who made a first-class in the Nigerian Law School examinations concluded a few months ago had emerged the best graduating student of Bola Ajibola College of Law of Crescent University (BACOLAW) in 2018, while Zainab Akinde, who also made first-class in the Nigerian Law School recently became a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICARB).

A total of 32 other students of BACOLAW also got chartered with NICARB and were recently inducted to practice arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) said the statement.

“This feat came when Crescent University was still relishing its 100 per cent National Universities Commission (NUC) accreditation across all its programmes,” the statement said.

Similarly,  nine students from the Department of Mass Communication were among 78 candidates who scored 70 per cent and above and were shortlisted for admission by the Board of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos.

Meanwhile, the proprietor of the university, Bola Ajibola, has congratulated the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibraheem Gbajabiamila;the Dean, Bola Ajibola College of Law (BACOLAW), Prof. Momodu Kassim-Momodu; and Head of Department of Mass Communication of the university, Dr Kola Asesina, for what he referred to as an all-round achievement.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Gbajabiamila said he was not surprised by the feat recorded by graduates of the institution as “they have been adequately equipped to excel in all spheres of life.”
