“Sick. Totally sick. But my musical Mother @angeliquekidjo told me everything I needed to understand about the Grammys.

So now I’m “Twice as Tall” (that’s the name of my next Album by the way dropping in July by the grace of the most High)”

The 15 track album is a fusion of Afro-pop, Afrobeat, Bashment, Afro-fusion, Afro-Swing, Kapuka, Afro-swing, Reggae-Fusion and Electronic.

The album is produced by U.S rapper Sean Diddy Combs with Bosede Ogulu, Burna boy’s mother as the executive producer.

The ‘Ye’ crooner in his 15-track project featured other acts like Stormzy, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Youssou N’Dour, Naughty By Nature, and Sauti Sol

Upon release of the album, the African giant took to his Instagram page to share his experiences.

“Honestly, no title cause I wanted the art to speak for itself, this album was a journey through a bunch of emotions and energies at different points in time.

“It has now morphed into something bigger than me. It serves as a bridge for mankind to show that we’re all different but still very much the same.

“I’m grateful for the unreal talents that came together from ALL over the world to pull this off.

“Shout out to the OG @diddy for coming on board and sprinkling his own unique spice on this! I hope I’m able to spark something in you when you listen.”

Below are some reactions from Twitter to the ‘Ye’ crooners album.

Award winning Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia popularly known as 2Face said the album is more than a Grammy.
