Twins paraded over stealing in Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has paraded a set of twins, Olusoji Kehinde and Olusoji Taiwo, over alleged burglary and receiving stolen property.

The command’s spokesman, Sunday Abutu, who disclosed that the suspects were arrested on April 25, at about 08pm while attempting to break a shop on Matthew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-Ekiti, said that during interrogation the suspects confessed to the crime and further stated that they were responsible for the burgling of three shops in the Fayemi Market at Agric Olope in Ado-Ekiti from where they stole two bags of rice, two bags of beans and other valuables valued at N936,750.

Abutu added that further investigation by the command’s Rapid Response Squad (RRS) led to the arrest of Afolayan Funke (f) and Nnaji Benignus Aroh (m), who the suspects claimed had been receiving stolen property from them.
