Apart from the formidable opposition PDP- Kwankwasiyya that is waxing power to unseat it, the Kano APC is bedeviled with internal crises that have started reducing its electoral chances in 2023.
Internal party crises are usually major driving forces that negatively effect party performance in a poll. The Kano APC is heading for such turbulence.

The current turmoil rocking the party is a cause of concern to any committed party member in the state. The internal crises that paved way for two parallel convention that produced Abdullahi Abbas and Haruna Zago representing Ganduje and Shekarau-led factions respectively will create a hole that will gradually sink the party’s ship.
Neither Ganduje nor Shekarau, including their supporters will survive the mishaps.
Both Ganduje and Shekarau should tread with caution. They shouldn’t listen to the sycophants instigating the crises. Let them sit, discuss and iron out the grey and thorny areas and find political solution, otherwise Kwankwaso will send them to political oblivion.
