Tsav thanks Jonathan ‘for not interfering’

Tsav told Daily Trust in Makurdi yesterday that the president had demonstrated that he is a leader of the entire country and not just the head of his party, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP).
“I congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan for once demonstrating that he is the president and leader of Nigeria and not president and leader of the PDP. This is a great improvement of his leadership style of Nigeria,” he said.
The former CP maintained that Jonathan had displayed fairness as it ordinarily should be, urging him to continue with such attitude henceforth as elections are not meant to be a do-or-die affair.
“Thank you for not interfering in Osun election. That is how good and unbiased leaders should behave. We wish the same spirit will be applied in all future elections and impeachment process,” he added.
