Sani Jalingo Idris, leader of the bandit group that abducted twenty-two students from Greenfield University, has threatened to kill the remaining seventeen students by Tuesday, if the Kaduna state government and families of the victims fail to pay a hundred million naira ransom.

He revealed that the families of the students had already raised and paid fifty-five million naira to them, but said, they had used the money in feeding the students.
