A trailer has crushed a man, simply identified as Yanma, in front of the Bida LGA Secretariat in the Masaba area of Bida town.
The Niger State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Kumar Tsukwam, who disclosed to our correspondent that the accident happened on Wednesday, said the truck was coming Kutigi when the driver lost control, attributing the accident to speed violation.
He said the corpse of the victim was claimed at the crash scene by the relatives and the vehicle impounded by the police.
