A yet-to-be-identified man was on Tuesday, crushed to death in an auto crash involving a truck with no registration in Anambra State.
The accident happened in the early hours of Tuesday along Onitsha-Owerri expressway in Onitsha, Anambra.

Witnesses said the truck driver veered off his lane due to over speeding and crushed the barrow pusher.
Angered by the incident, youths in the area set the truck ablaze after the driver had run away, they added.
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command, said rescue team was chased away by the angry youths, who took the corpse away.
The Sector Commander, Mr. Andrew Kumapayi, urged pedestrians to always use the pedestrian bridges where available, just as he warned motorists to abide by the stipulated speed limits to avoid unnecessary road crashes.
