Troops raid bandit’s camp, recover 27 fertiliser bags used for IEDs production

Troops have cleared the camp of a notorious bandit identified as Lawal Kwalba, in Rafin Dawa, Dende general area of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The troops of Operation Forest Sanity after clearing the camp recovered some batteries and 27 bags of fertiliser.

The state Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan in a statement said the materials recovered indicated likely plans to manufacture Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), considering the bandits’ close alliance with terrorists.
