A travel agent has been arraigned in a Kano State magistrates’ court sitting in Gyadi Gyadi in Kumbotso LGA for allegedly obtaining N1 million under the pretence of procuring visas for two men, Bashir Hassan and Hussaini Hassan.
The travel agent, Usman Sanusi Bachirawa, was charged with an eight-count charge bordering on criminal breach of trust and fraud.

The police told the court that after collecting the money from the victims, he issued them fake travel visas to Saudi Arabia.
Counsel to the accused, Barrister A. I. Alhassan, urged the court to admit his client to bail, which the Magistrate, Hajiya Rakiya Lami Sani, granted in the sum of N800,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case to September 21.
