The Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Ali Hassan, who was abducted alongside other passengers of the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train, has regained freedom.
Daily Trust reports that Hassan was among 398 passengers who bought tickets to travel to Kaduna rail line but were ambushed a few kilometres to their destination.

Confirming his release, the Director of Corporate Communication, Bank of Agriculture, Gboyega Olaniyi, told Daily Trust that the MD had reunited with his family members.
Olaniyi, however, declined comments when asked if ransom was paid.
He simply said, “The bank MD is fine; he has been released by his abductors.”
