Traffic wardens urge IGP to complete promotion process

Men of the Traffic Warden Service of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) have appealed to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, to complete the ongoing process of their promotion which was commenced by the immediate past IGP, Usman Alkali Baba.

The 2007/2008 intake wardens said their promotion was delayed as they had only been promoted twice in the last 15 years.

The Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, had said that the move was aimed at ensuring the elevation of deserving officers of the force to their next ranks on the basis of years in service, experience and qualification.
