Over the pass few week Toyota worldwide has made these recalls for quality control of accelerator defect. None of the reports mentioned “all Toyotas”. Since Toyota made it recall, other have done the same like Honda. Toyota has showed it cares for its customer and must run quality control for consumer’s safety. And as the biggest auto makers they have an image to protect. That is why they must be at their best.
There certain things the public needs to know about recalls. You should not panic. It is to make your car better than what it is. Most recalls are for a limited number depending on where the assembly unit and the time of production or perhaps the chassis number. In the case of Toyota most of the affected models prone to this problem include the 2008-2010 Toyota Camry, 2009-2010 Toyota Rav4 and Corolla, and the 2005-2010 Avalon. Moreover Toyota produces the most reliable cars that will get you from one point to another even if your car had a minor fault. This is not common to other cars. One thing stands out; TNL should have acted earlier than now.
