Town of twins ‘Igbo-Ora’ set to honour National Hospital for separating conjoined twin

The Olu of Igbo-Ora, Oba Jimoh Olajide Titiloye has announced that the management of the National Hospital, Abuja would be honoured for their professionalism in successfully separating a conjoined twin in 2020.

Igbo-ora is known for its unusually large number of twin births, which has earned the town the nickname of Twin Capital of the World.

The monarch said honouring the medical team was one of the activities lined up to mark the 2021 edition of the famous Igbo-Ora World Twins Festival.

Speaking through the Global Facilitators of the Festival, Ambassadors Taiwo and Kehinde Oguntoye at a press conference in Ibadan on Tuesday, the monarch announced that the one-week-long festival will commence on October 3.
