Total COVID-19 patients discharged in Lagos rises to 528

Lagos State on Wednesday discharged another 26 coronavirus patients from isolation, raising the total number of confirmed cases successfully managed and discharged in the state to 528. 

Giving update on the novel coronavirus, the Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu said that the patients including 13 males and 13 females, (all Nigerians) were released to reunite with the society having recovered fully and tested negative twice consecutively to the virus.

Six of the patients were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; eleven from Onikan isolation centre and nine from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) isolation centre.

The Governor urged Lagosians to continue to observe social distancing, hand and personal hygiene as well wear face mask, especially at public places.
