Top teams gather in Keffi for Unity Polo extravaganza

Over fifteen highly-motivated teams from across the country are gearing up for the Unity polo fiesta, which gallops-off at the Keffi Polo Ranch in Keffi, Nasarawa State, from September 7– 11, 2022.

Polo Royals gathers that the Unity event which is the latest addition to the bouquet of Keffi Ranch events is part of the organizer’s objective to use the noble game of polo to calm the nerves in the political fronts and ensure peaceful polls next year.

Keffi Polo Ranch boss and Chief Host, Honourable Aliyu Wadada added that sports is not only a veritable tool for fostering friendship, national unity and cultural understanding, but also a platform for international diplomacy and global investments.

Keffi Polo Ranch traditionally hosts two flagship humanitarian tournaments annually that cater for the development of education in the state and the weeklong charity fiesta that benefits orphanages and the less privileged in Nasarawa state. .

Tournament Manager, Babaduna Kaloma said the organizers are expecting a full house as regular teams from Abuja, Jos, Kaduna, Kano Bauchi and Yola, among others have all indicated their intentions to contest for honours during the weeklong tournament that has been the beckon of tourism attraction in the state.

Kaloma who promised that this year‘s event would get better as it has always been over the years added that “it’s going to be a week of thrilling polo experience for the lovers of the game. “Our commitment to this tournament remains strong and we are absolutely passionate about the tournament.”
