Titi Atiku, Alhassan, Yari, Tambuwal to attend Daily Trust Women Entrepreneurs summit

The wife of a former vice president, Hajiya Titi Atiku Abubakar,  is to chair Daily Trust’s  Women Summit and Exhibition scheduled to hold December 5-6 at Yar’adua Centre Abuja. 

The event is intended to showcase and celebrate women entrepreneurs, both young and old, and also encourage women to own businesses and be self-reliant, thus improving theirs and the national economy.

Participants expected at the summit and exhibition include, Women in Business (WIMBIZ), National Council of Women Societies, market women associations, NECA’s Network of Entrepreneurial Women, top women executives, women politicians, women based NGOs, National Centre for Women Development, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency  (SMEDAN) among others.

The two-day event will include exhibition of various products and services by women entrepreneurs across the country.

The Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs Aisha Alhassan,  is expected to be the special guest of honour at the event.

The chairperson of Nigeria Governors Wives Forum, Mrs Asmau Abdulaziz Yari, Chairperson of Northern Governors Wives Forum, Mrs Hadiza Abubakar Mohammed and wife of Governor of Sokoto State, Hajiya Mariya Aminu Tambuwal, are also scheduled to address participants at the summit and exhibition.
