The Conference of Secretaries in Lagos State (Scribes 57) has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a true democrat with his unwavering commitment to rebuilding Nigeria.
In a statement to mark the President’s 72nd birthday signed by its Chairman, Akeem Olalekan Dauda, the secretaries said the president has always readily given himself to the cause of peace, stability, growth and development.
“For this, we owe you an enduring debt of gratitude”, this statement added.
The Scribes 57 is a group of secretaries across the 20 Local Councils and 57 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State.

The Statement reads: “You stand as a towering figure symbolising democracy, peace and freedom. Your unwavering commitment to these ideals continues to inspire and guide practitioners of democracy, not just in the Southwest but the entire country.”
Dauda, who is the Secretary of Ikeja Local Council, said the President’s influence has continued to resonate beyond the country, extending to the international community and multilateral institutions.
He described the President as a study in patriotism, leadership and courage since he was the Governor of Lagos and the reins of power as the elected president since last year.
