The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won the polling units where the state chairman, Abdullahi Abbas voted.
At the polling unit, Chiranci 002 of Gwale local government area, APC scored 89 votes followed by the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) which scored 60 votes and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 12 votes while ADC and PRP clinched one vote respectively.

Presidential candidate of NNPP, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, won at the Polling Unit of the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf.
The polling Unit, Balabe Haladu, located in Gwale LGA is an extension of the Diso polling Unit where the state Chapter Chairman of the APC voted and earlier won for the APC.
At Balabe Haladu polling unit, Kwankwaso scored 110 votes against Bola Ahmed Tinubu of APC, who got 62 votes.
