The Director-General of the Confederation of All Progressives Congress Support Groups (CASG), Prof. Kailani Muhammad, has asked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to step on toes to resolve the socio-economic challenges bedeviling the country.

He gave the advice yesterday in Abuja, at a special breaking of fasting aimed at bringing Nigerians together, irrespective of their religious or ethnic backgrounds

The challenges facing Nigerians are insecurity, poverty, hunger, food crisis, decline in the value of the naira, hike in prices of goods and services, poor economy and many others.

Prof. Muhammad said, “President Bola Tinubu is doing his best to make Nigeria better. His close associates should also do the right thing to help him.  Today, the confederation of all APC support groups, we brought this government. People are already pointing a finger to us that we brought this government.

“So, let him use political will. He has to step on toes, we would help him. The issue of this oil theft is another issue. We are operating a mono-economy in this country, and it seems so many people are stealing our oil.”
