The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has assured that he would lead Nigeria to build a better and stronger nation even in difficult times if given the mandate in next year’s election.
Tinubu made the pledge yesterday during a town hall meeting with APC stakeholders on national transformation and industrialisation at the Cultural Centre, Calabar, the Cross River State capital.
Drawing parallel from the experience of the United States during its civil war, Tinubu charged Nigerians and party members to focus on what the country can accomplish.
A statement by Tinubu’s media office, signed by Tunde Rahman, quoted Tinubu as saying, “We can build in the middle of difficulty. The US was fighting the civil war and still building rail tracks.”
Meanwhile, native doctors across the six geo-political zones yesterday converged in Abuja, where they adopted Tinubu and predicted victory for him in next year’s poll.
The Vice President (South South) of Modern Traditional Medicine Practitioners of Nigeria (MTMPN), Patrick Ebason, said Tinubu has already won the election spiritually, stressing that his victory would manifest on February 25, 2023 at the polls.
Ebason, who was flanked by the president and secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Dada Nakowa and Chief Bamidele Fatoye respectively, said, “The native doctors believe that Tinubu is going to win this election.”
