The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other chieftains of the ruling party were in Delta on Saturday to campaign ahead of the 2023 elections.
Speaking during the flag-off, Tinubu assured that his presidency and Omo-Agege’s governorship would bring “hope, employment, progress and development to Delta and Nigeria in general.”

Tinubu reminded the people of the dearth of industries in the state, saying that voting for the PDP would amount to a continuation of 23 years of underdevelopment in the state.
“I assure Nigerians, especially the youth, that all promises made to ensure a better Nigeria will be fulfilled,” he said.
