Tinubu is addressing hunger, Kalu tells Nigerians

The Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, Thursday assured that President Bola Tinubu has taken a bold decision towards addressing the present hunger scenario facing Nigerians.

Kalu, the former Abia State governor, stated this while interacting with journalists during his New Year visit to the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ebonyi State chapter, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, at his Ekoli Edda country home in Edda Local Government Area of the state.

He acknowledged that Nigeria had been facing a serious hardship since the inception of President Tinubu-led administration but expressed optimism that the situation would soon change.

“Nigeria as a nation is facing a serious hardship since the inception of President Tinubu-led administration but whether there’s any hope for the Nigerian citizens now we are in the New Year, let me be honest with you, President Tinubu is working very hard to reduce this hunger.

“Nigerians are hungry, and I know that they are hungry, but he’s working hard because the decision taken by Mr President is the decision for economic development.

“He is bold enough to let Nigerian people know that we are naked economically. So, I think, even though Nigerian people are sad because of the economic hardship, they should be patient because we shall see the light at the end of the tunnel,” Kalu said.
