Tinubu, Gombe gov felicitate with Ganduje at 74

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on his 74th birthday.

The president, in a statement on Monday by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, extolled the leadership hallmarks of the former governor of Kano State.

He described Dr Ganduje as a thorough-bred democrat who had devoted his life to the service of the people and Nigeria.

“In my association with him, Dr Ganduje has proved to be a loyal friend and dependable ally. He gives his all to everything he believes in, with a keen focus on effective execution. His management of our party since becoming the national chairman is a proven testimony of his capacity as a masterful politician,” he said.

While wishing Dr Ganduje strength and good health, President Tinubu implored the APC national chairman not to relent in his service to Nigeria.

In the same vein, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has felicitated with the APC national chairman on the occasion of his birthday.

Governor Yahaya, who is also the Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF), commended Ganduje’s commitment and strategic acumen in advancing the APC goals and steering the party towards unity and progress, aligning it with the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Similarly, the APC non-serving senators also celebrated the former governor of Kano State for the exemplary leadership displayed as the party’s national chairman.

“Your ability to attract new members has not only expanded our party but has also brought a wealth of talent and dedication under our political umbrella,” a statement signed by Senator Basheer Lado, Convener/Chairman ProTem of the group partly read.
