There is tight security at the Kano Government House ahead of the 12th Bola Ahmed Tinubu Colloquium.
Dignitaries have been trooping to the government house for the programme scheduled for 12 midday.

Security personnel are also at strategic places in Kano metropolis.
The colloquium is holding on the same day with the 12th General Assembly of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) in Kano.
Our correspondent observed heavy deployment of police officers at virtually all junctions, roundabout and other strategic places in the metropolis.
It was also observed that there were more deployment of officials of the hitherto ubiquitous Kano State Road and Transport Agency (KAROTA).
There was similar heavy deployment of security at Magajin Rumfa road, the location for the traditional rulers’ event and its surrounding.
