The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived the country Friday after months in London for medical treatment, several sources confirmed.
Tinubu was said to have arrived Lagos at about 9pm and received by Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

He was initially billed to arrive on Sunday with a grand reception being planned for him by his supporters and loyalists especially the leadership of the party in Lagos State.
However, Tinubu arrived without the expected fanfare prompting the abrupt cancellation of some of the programmes planned for him on Sunday.
The Governors’ Advisory Council (GAC), the highest decision making body in Lagos APC, had earlier planned a reception for the former governor on Sunday but was cancelled abruptly.
But several sources close to Asiwaju confirmed that he is back.
The Tinubu Support Group’s spokesman, Tosin Adeyanju confirmed his arrival through a terse announcement.
“We thank God for the safe arrival of our principal Bola Ahmed Tinubu after a successful knee surgery in London”, he said.
