The withdrawal of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger republics from ECOWAS is a blessing in disguise for African countries and a clarion call to African heads of government to come together and form a united front for Africa.

If truly African countries want to break away from imperialists’ undue influence meant to bring Africa to its knees, we must begin to build our economy around the vast natural resources bestowed on the African continent.

We must be deliberate in creating a market for Africa by Africans through regional cooperation.

What to do

– Africa must have a common and single currency to be called Afro

– Africa must not accept any currency to be higher than the Afro.

– The Afro must be a legal tender to be used for international business/trade.

– Africa must ban the use of any foreign currency to trade with African nations and fix the exchange rate of the Afro at 1 to 1 Euro.

– African nations must liberate themselves and wake up from their slumber to break the shackles of colonial mentality, and the time is now.

Africa must take advantage of the conflict between the super power nations. Russia wants to truly decolonise Africa; they are part of the colonisation escapade of the West and the hidden secrets of the West to perpetually underdeveloped Africa and made its citizens poor and vulnerable.

We must resist the influence of Western powers as a continent.

The war in Ukraine is what is leading to the conflict among the super power nations.

Russia and China are now ready to rock the boat; Africa must capitalise on this to be truly independent.
