While waiting in line in the store for some minutes, he noticed some individuals trying to get into his car.

As the 38-year-old approached them, one of the suspects opened fire and shot him.

Nnamdi was rushed to a hospital but died from the injuries sustained from the gunshot. The suspects are still at large.

Reacting to the incident, Timaya took to his verified Twitter account on Friday stating that he had arrived in the US to bury his best friend. The ace singer further revealed that he just reconciled with his best friend before he was killed.

“I can’t believe I came to America to bury my BEST friend. Nnamdi why? And we just reconciled,” he tweeted accompanied by several crying emojis.
