Timaya: I Suffered So Much As A Boy But Now I’m Rich

Nigerian Singer and Songwriter, Inetimi Timaya Odon, popularly known as Timaya, says he suffered so much but now he is rich.

The Plantain Boy crooner, said this at a Music in Victoria Island, Lagos, at the weekend.

He reminisced on how his life was while growing up and the journey so far into success and wealth.

He also used the opportunity to encourage others to keep pushing for their success.

He said, “I used to sell plantain but now I am rich. I suffered so much as a boy but I am now a rich man. Thanks to God. If you’re here and you think you are suffering, do not give up. Keep pushing because you will surely succeed.”
