Tiler remanded over theft of cement in Kwara

A magistrates’ court in Pake, Ilorin, Kwara State, has remanded a 27-year-old tiler, Kazeem Alade, for stealing bags of cement.

According to the police charge sheet, the suspect entered an uncompleted building where materials such as cement and nails were kept and stole the cement.

The prosecutor, Adisa Akinjide, told the court that the suspect could not give satisfactory account of himself and mission when he was caught and urged the court to order his remand.

The Magistrate, Kehinde Ajide, ordered the remand of the suspect and adjoined to September 10.
