Members of the International Organisation of Tijaniyyah Brotherhood (IOTB) in conjunction with the Tijaniyyah Muslim Students’ Association of Nigeria (TIMSAN) recently held their annual national conference at the National Mosque in Abuja.
Before the conference, the organisation’s medical team visited the Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp at Area 1, where about 200 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) were given free medical treatment during a medical outreach/humanitarian service programme.
A medical team member, Pharm. Shittu Ibrahim, said malaria and malnutrition were the illnesses mostly suffered by those who came for treatment.
During the conference, the organisation’s National Chairman, Prof. Abdullahi El-Okene, called on members of the group to shun the urge to travel abroad for greener pasture.
