Three underaged, 163 others repatriated from Libya

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has received another batch of166 voluntary returnees from Libya.


The repatriation was facilitated by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).

Their breakdown, according to the Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Alh Yakubu Suleiman who received them, comprised 56 female adults, four female infants and three female underaged; 101 male adults and two male children.

They arrived in a Nouvel Air Airbus aircraft with registration number TS-INA touched down at NAHCO wing of  Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos at around 8:08 pm.


The Zonal Coordinator while receiving the returnees implored them to see their sojourn as a phase of life that should not be allowed to dampen their brighter future, urging them to resolve to make a better living.
