Three farmers have been reportedly killed by armed invaders in Odugbo community, Apa Local Government Area of Benúe State.
Our correspondent reports that the latest killing of the farmers which happened on Tuesday was one among several invasions that had sacked many communities of Apa in recent times.
A youth leader simply identified as, Adakole, said that the deceased were attacked on Tuesday by the assailants on their farms.
He said that another person was seriously wounded and was rushed to a hospital in Adoka but was further referred to another one in Makurdi, the state capital.

Eche Akpoko, a lawyer and National Chairman of Apa Development Association, confirmed that three farmers were killed on Tuesday in Odugbo.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Catherine Anene, when contacted on the telephone, said she was not aware of the incident.
