Jeff Ajuashi, curator of Thought Pyramid and founder of the residency, said he is very optimistic that the opportunity will not only take young people off the streets but give them a platform to showcase their talent to the world.

Ajuashi added that each year, new themes would be explored with the institutions that are willing to take arts and creativity to the next level and all residents shall tailor their works in that direction.

FACT is aimed at giving young and upcoming artists, illustrators, writers, novelists, dramatists amongst other talents, a month to create and build innovative ideas.

Thought Pyramid Art Centre is one of Nigeria’s well-known art galleries where a variety of events, including book readings and art exhibitions, take place.
