A former Chairman of Kuje Area Council, Alhaji Abdullahi D. Galadima, has said the people that betrayed him during his re-election bid in 2019 are now regretting.
Alhaji Galadima stated this when he received the members of the Yenche Ward Working Committee of the APC at his residence in Kuje who came to congratulate him on his recent appointment as FCT Committee Chairman for Special Public Works Programme by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He said it was unfortunate that some members of the APC engaged in anti-party activities during the last area council election in the area, and therefore urged the working committee to be wary of people that engaged in anti-party.
The former council boss also informed the delegation that the seat of the late APC women leader in the council who died in 2019 had been replaced by Mrs. Rukaiya Abdullahi.
He commended the delegation for the visit and urged them to remain resolute in keeping APC strong in their respective wards.
City News reports that the former chairman sought re-election on the APC platform but lost to the opposition PDP’s Abdullahi Suleman Sabo during the 2019 area council elections.
