Katch Ononuju, Special Adviser on Public Affairs to the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said that there is nothing big in drafting manifesto.
Ononuju, who stated this in an interview on Channels TV’s Sunrise Daily, however said Obi and LP will soon come up with a manifesto.

He said, “We are fine-tuning, we already have our manifesto and we are also aware of plagiarism. We know these parties like to copy things like this.
“We are careful. The first thing we have done was to establish trust, the most important tool in leadership is trust.
“If these candidates were bank, which bank will you put your money in? We showed Peter Obi to be the presidential candidate Nigerians trusted.”
Ononuju also said any version of the Obi’s manifesto in circulation is fake.
“Whatever you get in a while is not his (Obi’s), people could have seen different version of different things but the one my principal will introduce to the world will be the authentic manifesto. So there is nothing big about manifesto, we are doing things in different ways,” he added.
Meanwhile a People Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Babasola Kuti, has said that it is disgraceful that LP is yet to come up with its manifesto.
Kuti stated this while responding to questions in an interview on Channels TV.
He said, “That is what happens when you support a candidate who is confused and doesn’t know where to go. I think it is a disgrace that Labour Party doesn’t have manifesto at this stage of campaigns.
“Essentially what they are doing is waiting for our manifesto like waiting for exam papers to be marked so that you write your own examination.
“And this is not fair to Nigeria’s people. I said it is lack of integrity on Peter Obi’s part. if he is not going to use manifesto, he should come out and tell Nigerians.”
Kuti said Atiku is the only candidate with presidency experience and the most prepared of all the candidates.
