Yadi, that is also known as Jauro-Garga village, is a unit in Gamadadi Ward which is located at the boundary of the Borno State area of Bayo Local Government Area.
Yadi community has a brush with the scarcity of water for the daily activities which is threatening their lives and especially, those of children.

There is a lake adjacent to the village that the people have depended on to fetch water for drinking, cocking, washing, and other activities.
The village is popularly known for its Vegfru company, which is the most famous company in Southern Borno and Gombe Central, but when the company collapsed, the government and the rich abandoned the village.
The community and its people’s associations have several times lamented about the water problem to the government which led the governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Zulum in December 2021, to assure them of the construction of solar boreholes immediately, but until now there is no further action has been taken.
Recently, a politician seeking a seat in the Borno State House of Assembly constructed a borehole far away from the village and it indeed helped, but it does not provide a dependable solution to the problem.
Therefore, I appeal to the Governor Zulum of Borno State and our representatives to look at the matter and rescue Yadi community.
